In 2006, Doug Sharp put together a team of architects within BSB Design with one goal: design a sturdy home, with lightweight materials, that would be easy to ship and could be built in one day by one family. All this for as little money as possible.

Your donation will go to The Affordable Housing in the Developing World Foundation (AHDWF). AHDWF is a registered 501c3, dedicated to providing affordable housing wherever it is needed around the world and will use the funds collected by gifts and donations to advance this purpose.
Dr. Jim Blessman
Dr. Jim Blessman started his work in South Africa with his wife Beth in 2001 by forming Blessman Ministries, a non-profit organization bringing hope to children through optical clinics, orphan villages, a feeding program, as well as sharing the love of Christ. All across the country of South Africa, Blessman Ministries hosts optical outreaches in the public schools giving children a better future. The children are educated on HIV/AIDS, and given a Book of Hope, giving them the opportunity to see just how much God loves them. The main objective of Dr. Jim, Beth, and Blessman Ministries is to give these children physical and spiritual hope, by sharing their time, talent and treasure.
One of the most recent projects that Dr. Jim Blessman has completed with Abod Shelters was improving living conditions for women and children who have experienced the impact of the AIDS epidemic engulfing Africa. Blessman Ministries and Abod Shelters built a small community of Abod Shelters in the Limpopo Province to provide affordable shelter and a safe living environment for women and their children.
